What the review answers
An investor or a lender takes a decision on a project whose value rests on documents: the title to the land, the environmental and planning decisions, the building permit, the grid connection and the project agreements. Legal due diligence establishes what the project actually holds, which items are missing and which risks can still be addressed before closing. The report sets out the findings together with recommended action, so it can serve the decision itself, the price talks or the financing terms.
Scope for a project of 10 to 50 MW
A project of 10 to 50 MW is reviewed across several areas at once, from the project company through the land and the permits to the construction, supply and offtake agreements. Portfolios of several projects are priced separately. Once the scope is agreed, we examine the subject of the transaction and the project company, the land and the infrastructure, the decisions and permits, the grid connection and regulatory status, and the project agreements appropriate to the stage reached. The standard scope does not cover a technical audit, environmental measurements, a valuation of the project or tax due diligence; a tax module can be agreed separately. Pricing follows the capacity and stage of the project and the volume of documents.
